Study of long range filamentary propagation of intense ultrashort laser
pulses in atmosphere

In the framework of the teramobile project, we have investigated the horizontal
propagation of laser pulses from a TW mobile laser system over distances
reaching 600m. Results concerning the length of filamentation as a function
of initial chirp and beam convergence will be presented.
